Dorm 206 - VI:

A/N: Kinda fluffy/filler, but it's moving the story along. *Sighs* See the end of this chapter for more notes.

VI:

Things had been good between Leo and Nico over the next couple months. They were just friends, taking it very very slow, but they spent alot of time together, just the two of them.
However, with Valentine's Day right around the corner, Leo felt heartsick. They we're dating, and only a couple people even knew they spent alot of time together.
And then it was February 13, and Percy had brought Luke over. Leo should have been happy they weren't making out, but he still couldn't concentrate on his homework.
They were gossiping like teenage girls at a slumber party, and anyone and everyone they knew made it into the conversation.
"Percy, did you hear? My brother, Octavian, is back with Rachel."
Percy shrugged. "Not surprised. They see each other all the time in the art building. He follows her around like a puppy dog. And they do this ALL the time. It was bound to start back up, again."
"Yeah, but I also heard she's going to let him in tomorrow night." Luke shuttered. "I don't even know her that well and I hope she doesn't. My brother is such a creep!"
"One, he really is. Two, I doubt Rachel will. She's so prim and proper about herself. And they do this every other month. At some point, either they'll get married, or break up for good."
"So, Percy, who are you taking out tomorrow?"
"Well, if you're offering." Percy and Luke a knowing look. "No, actually. I'm going out with Annabeth, of course. She'd kill me if I didn't. You?"
"I finally got Thalia to say yes." Luke fanned himself a little.
"So, both you and your brother will get nothing tomorrow night? Harsh."
Luke pushed Percy playfully before turning towards Leo who was sitting at his desk. "Leo, what are you plans for Valentine's Day?"
Leo mumbled something unintelligible to the other boys.
"You need to speak up, Leo."
"I said I think I'm just going to hide in the forges all day, away from everyone and their coupliness."
"But you must someone Leo." Leo refused to turn around when he heard that for two reasons. One, because he was blushing at the thought of saying that he and Nico were even remotely a couple. And two, because it sounded more like Luke asked, "But we have to get a puppy," complete with the eyes and quivering lip.
Leo just shook his head.
Percy tried to be stern before buckling over with laughter. "Leo, don't lie. Words been going around that you're seeing someone."
Leo flinched. So, Octavian saw him leaving Nico's place one day and Leo had just hoped the crazy boy had kept him mouth shut. Apparently not. He mentally cursed himself for saying the next words. "We aren't dating."
The other boys exploded in excitement. "That means you are seeing someone!"
The boys got off Percy's bed and wandered over to Leo. Percy distracted Leo by leading him in random circles around the room as Luke grabbed Leo's phone. Leo tried to escape to no avail. "You'll never-"
Luke held up the phone. "I'm in."
Leo could feel his eye twitching and nearly wanted to strangle the other boy. "How did you?"
Luke pointed to the back cover which featured a homemade McDonald's parody sticker. "Your password is McShizzle, which is written on the back of your phone. Obvious much?" Luke tapped on the phone as Percy continued to hold Leo back. "Hmmm..You keep contacting someone named 'Ghost King' but you never mention his name."
"Oooh! Leo likes a guy!" Percy ignored Leo's complaints and continued. "Could it be that one? Luke you know the one I'm thinking of. He's always hanging out in the cemetery and his girlfriend has classes with Annabeth. Oh wait. Or is she dating the black guy?"
"I thought the black guy was her brother."
"No, the other black guy that hangs out with them. But you know who I'm talking about. The one everyone calls a slut."
"You mean besides you?"
"That's not the point."
"Yes, I know who you are taking about, but I don't see him as Leo's type. Then again, Leo do you even know him?"
Leo stared blankly at the boys. He had little to no idea what they were talking about. He also didn't realize that his chance to grab his phone was gone after those few seconds.
But, by that point, Luke had tossed Percy the phone. The number was dialed.
And Leo knew it was all over.
"It's ringing!"
Leo grabbed the phone as the Ghost King answered. He seemed annoyed and possibly in the middle of a headache. "Leo. Why are you-"
"Sorry. Pocket dialed." Leo clicked the end button before anyone could stop him.
